Doogie the Dog needs a home

Doogie is a great dog—friendly, incredibly sweet, and gentle. He’s a male black lab that was a stray in Washington County FL. He’s an adult but still has the playfulness of a puppy. He’s a great car rider—calm and happy to look out the window. Doogie weighs 56 lbs. Since he was a stray we don’t know his exact age, but an estimate is that he’s 5 or 6 years old, so we’ve put him in the 5-8 year age range. Doogie has been to our vet for an exam and is now up-to-date on vaccines. Doogie is heartworm positive and will start treatment for that next week. He’ll be neutered after he finishes with heartworm treatment. Doogie can’t wait to be a part of a loving family. If it could be your family, review our policies and complete an application.
